DOT &  Motor Carrier Authority reinstatement is for DOT or MC Numbers  that have been either voluntarily or involuntarily revoked.

You are required to renew every two years. Failure to complete a biennial update will result in deactivation of your U.S. DOT Number 

Completing address change/name change is importation for maintaining regulatory compliance
